After a call to replace the judges of its ethics committee earlier this summer, the Hellenic Football Association (EPO) is nowhere near to settling on a start date for Greece’s Champion League 2016-17 season.
On Tuesday the EPO annulled the decision to replace the judges, which raised hopes that maybe the league would see a kickoff to their new season sooner rather than later.
However, Deputy Sports Minister, Stavros Kontonis announced that the league would not be starting next month in statements that he made following the EPO’s announcement to call off replacing the judges.
