An original recipe for authentic Cretan ntakos with homemade humus
Ingredients:
- 1lb/453gr CHICKPEAS
- 34fl oz/1Litre WATER
- ½ TEASPOON SALT
Let in water overnight
Simmer for 1 1/2 hour
In a blender:
- 8oz/225gr BOILED CHICKPEAS
- 4 TABLESPOONS TAHINI
- ½ TEASPOON CUMIN
- ½ TEASPOON SALT
- ½ TEASPOON PEPPER
- 5fl oz/75ml OLIVE OIL
- 1fl oz/30ml LEMON JUICE
Place humus on Ntakos and add:
Feta Cheese
Tomato
Olives
Olive oil
Enjoy!
