Alexis Tsipras is far from forming autonomous government in Greece’s upcoming early elections, says a readers’ opinion poll conducted by German newspaper Bild.
The new trimmed-down SYRIZA with Alexis Tsipras at the helm will get 28 percent of the vote, New Democracy will be second with 25 percent, while To Potami will be in third place with 9 percent of the vote.
In the January 25th elections, SYRIZA got 36.5 percent of the vote with New Democracy trailing well behind with 28 percent. Third party was Golden Dawn with 8 percent of the vote.
According to the biggest circulation daily, the newly formed Popular Unity — the SYRIZA rebels who left the party — will get 8 percent of the vote.
The poll also said that about 10 percent of Greeks are still undecided on who to vote for.
