Debbie Matenopoulos will host the Orpheus Awards ceremony. Presenters and recipients include Nick Cassavetes, Gena Rowlands, Phedon Papapmichael (Sr), John Aniston, Peter Bogdanovich & Sakis Rouvas, among others.

The Los Angeles Greek Film Festival (LAGFF) kicks off June 25th at the Egyptian Theater with the screening of a newly restored print of "Zorba" and will end June 29th with the screening of "Little Greek Godfather," based on an autobiographical short story by Nicholas Papandreou.

After the tragic and extensive disasters that Greece suffered this past summer, the Los Angeles Greek Film Festival 2008 organizers decided to invite filmmakers to submit their films for a special program titled “Wildfires: Greece, Summer 2007”.
