Cristiano Ronaldo has found himself in the middle of another scandal. A video circulating on social media purports to show the football player making a disrespectful gesture toward Al-Hilal supporters during Tuesday night’s match between Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal, which Al-Nassr lost 2-0.
The 37-year-old player, who was plainly irritated by the supporters’ antics, was subjected to constant chants of “Messi! Messi! Messi!” from the crowd. The video shows Ronaldo putting his hand in his genital region and pulling upwards as he walks into the tunnel.

Yellow Card Issued to Christiano Ronaldo
Michael Oliver, a former referee in the Premier League, issued a yellow card to Cristiano Ronaldo for pulling down an opponent while holding them in a chokehold earlier in the game. This was in addition to the alleged obscene gesture made by Ronaldo toward the fans.

Since signing a three-year deal with the club in December, Ronaldo has established himself as an indispensable member of the Al-Nassr squad. He has scored 11 goals in 11 games played in the league and 11 goals in 13 games played in all competitions.
On the other hand, it has been alleged that his manner has generated some turbulence in the dressing room, which ultimately led to the dismissal of the previous manager, Rudi Garcia.
Implications of Christiano Ronaldo’s Actions
Dinko Jelicic’s Al-Nassr team dropped a match against Al-Hilal on Tuesday, and as a result, they are currently three points behind the league leaders Al-Ittihad. They have also played one more game than Al-Ittihad. Although they have a game in hand, Al-Shabab is now in third place, three points behind Al-Nassr.
Cristiano Ronaldo signed a contract with Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr that is reportedly the largest football salary in history, amounting to $75 million per year. The deal is said to run until 2025, ending a brief free-agency period for the 37-year-old footballer.
The incident that included Cristiano Ronaldo has brought up doubts over his behavior on the field of play as well as his capacity to deal with criticism from fans once again. It is not yet clear if he will face any consequences as a result of the gesture that he made toward the audience members.
