Cristiano Ronaldo, who sealed his move from Real Madrid to Juventus in a Greek luxury resort last week, has expressed his gratitude to the hotel staff by signing off a huge cheque.
According to Greek media reports, the Portuguese superstar signed a €20,000 cheque for the 10 staff that were exclusively assigned to provide for all his needs at the Costa Navarino resort near Kalamata in the Peloponnese.
He apparently asked the hotel management to split the amount equally among the lucky personnel.
It also emerged that Ronaldo, who joined the Italian champions last week on a four-year contract for €100 million ($117.07 million), promised he will be back to enjoy the Greek sun and sea.
