Athina Onassis, the heiress to the legendary Onassis fortune, is rumored to be pregnant. Greek media outlets are speculating that she is about four months into the pregnancy.

The rumors began with a Brazilian publication that reported that the 38-year-old equestrian is expecting a child. This report was subsequently picked up by the Greek media.

Athina’s fame stems from her status as the only surviving descendent of Aristotle Onassis, the Greek shipping magnate who became one of the world’s wealthiest men. In recent years, Athina Onassis has generally kept a low profile but is sometimes seen at high-profile equestrian events.

Is Athina Onassis pregnant?

The latest rumor to emerge from the Greek celebrity world was alleged by a Brazilian website. This has led to further speculation as to who the potential father to the French-Greek heiress’s child might be.

Some commentators have speculated that the father might be Alberto Zorzi, whom Onassis is said to have become close to. Like Onassis, the Italian show jumper has an intense passion for equestrian sports.

The pair reportedly become close when Onassis sold Zorzi one of her horses, Cornetto K, who was the favorite of her ex-husband Alvaro de Miranda Neto, also known as Doda, who is also a showjumper.

Rumors of a relationship between Onassis and Zorzi intensified when the latter ended involvement with his wife, Analisa Giudini.

As to the purported pregnancy, the gossip appears to have commenced during an equestrian sporting event held at Saint Tropez. Onassis attended the event to spectate but did not participate, fueling speculation that she was pregnant.

Nevertheless, the rumors remain just that, rumors. A pregnancy has been neither confirmed nor denied.

Who is Alberto Zorzi?

Alberto Zorzi was raised in the charming Veneto region, specifically in Monselice near Padua. His fascination with horse riding began when he was just nine years old, prompted by his brother’s persuasive encouragement to mount a pony.

Academic pursuits did not captivate him, and he earnestly took up equestrian sports when he reached the age of 18. However, due to his other deep-seated passion for automobiles, he pursued an engineering degree. In a lighthearted manner, he would joke, “At least I would be capable of changing a tyre if my riding endeavors didn’t pan out.”

During his school days, Zorzi was seen as an eccentric and introverted youngster with an ardor for horses. Yet, as he started achieving victories in races and gained recognition in the media, his decision to pursue a career in equestrian sports was finally vindicated.
