Mykonos Celebrates Patron Saint Artemios With Impressive Horse Riding Show

The famous Greek island of Mykonos celebrated the feast day of its Patron Saint Artemios by holding a spectacular horse-riding event, the first to ever take place on the island.
The first equestrian meeting of Mykonos was held at the old port of the island and those present enjoyed a beautiful spectacle with impressive horses.
The goal of this event was to honor the day of Saint Artemios and for the people to get to know horses and admire their beauty.
Horse riders from across the country gathered on Mykonos and participated in the fiesta that was organized for the first time.
October 20 is a local bank holiday for Mykonos and those lucky enough to be at the old port of the town managed to enjoy the sunny and warm weather and the beautiful horses.
