English-Albanian pop star Dua Lipa confirmed her relationship with the Greek-French director Romain Gavras on social media.
The pair were rumored to be dating earlier this year in February. However, the relationship was confirmed when Dua Lipa posted a polaroid picture of the pair on Instagram with a red love emoticon.
This may cause a stir in the world of celebrity gossip as Gavras happens to be the ex-boyfriend of Dua Lipa’s top pop rival, Rita Ora; it is rumored that there is animosity between the two rivals.

On Tuesday, the pop singer shared a picture on Instagram showing the couple laughing together. The red emoticon was perhaps a not-so-subtle confirmation of what many music fans had suspected for months, that the pair were indeed dating.
Dua Lipa had been single since her split from her boyfriend of two years, model Anwar Hadid, in late 2021, while Gavras split up with Ora in March of that year, after six months of dating.
Lipa has been frequently compared with Ora as they both have parents from Kosovo, attended the same theatre school in London, and were reportedly close friends before they became pop rivals.
Rumors of animosity between the two singers grew further when another of Ora’s ex-boyfriends, Calvin Harris, collaborated with Lipa on her song One Kiss in 2018, says The Mirror.
