The exhibition, called ”The Greeks: Agamemnon to Alexander the Great” is part of the efforts of the Greek Ministry of Culture to promote cultural exchange and make Greek history better known around the world.
A vast array of 350 stunning artifacts have been already chosen to be sent to Korea from the most important museums in the nation of Greece.
Metal tools, statues, objects made of gold, silver and ivory, as well as ornaments and amphorae (two-handled Greek vases) are among the precious artifacts that Korean audiences will have the opportunity to see firsthand.
Some of the artifacts were even used during the ancient Olympic Games.
The series of exhibitions titled ”Greeks: Agamemnon to Alexander the Great” has been on show around the world for several years now. These priceless artifacts representing ancient Greece continue to travel the globe in an effort to promote Greece’s history to audiences who do not have an opportunity to visit Greece’s museums themselves.
