Two Women Enter Partnership Agreement on Crete

The first civil partnership agreement between two women took place on Crete. The ceremony to seal the two women’s relationship took place at Chania, reports flashnews.gr. The women, both in their forties, are the first to enter an official union on the island. The agreement was signed at Akrotiri and witnessed by a notary and official according to the regulations of the partnership agreement act.
The first homosexual couple to sign the same-sex cohabitation agreement in Chania were two men at the Municipality of Platania.
