It seems that the economic crisis in Greece has affected animals as well. There is no other explanation why these two ibex battle it out for a few corn seeds on the island of Crete, a rich land with plenty of food for all mammals.
Well, Cretans are proud and brave people, so that must apply to the two ibex as well. Their battle for the corn at Thodorou islet in Chania will make social media history.
The epic fight of the two wild goats was recorded by Sifis Megalakakis, a Chania Forestry guard who was on duty on the islet. Megalakakis videotaped the two animals fighting and posted it on his account on a social networking page. The rest is ibex history.
