On the morning of July 8, the Hellenic Police was informed of a suspicious van that was parked in Piraeus. It was immediately found that the van was stolen and that the theft was  declared on June 22 in Faliro.
Men of the Counter-Terrorist Unit watched it discreetly and when they opened it they found a small arsenal: Seven Kalashnikovs, a pistol, four grenade bodies, three grenade launchers, a gun silencer, five Kalashnikov loader magazines, 150 Kalashnikov bullets.
It still remains unknown who parked the van and left it there, when, and most of all why he did it. The Security has undertaken to research it further.
