The new development law was voted in principle by the Greek Parliament on Thursday.
152 deputies of SYRIZA and Independent Greeks voted for the bill while all the other political parties voted against (101 votes) and the deputies of the Democratic Alliance said “present.”
The bill also includes an amendment submitted by Alternate Migration Minister Yiannis Mouzalas on the composition of the committees that will be examining the asylum applications.
