A relatively weak earthquake, measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale, was recorded at 09:13 local time near the popular Greek island of Rhodes.
The quake was reported as having an epicenter 53 km (33 miles) east of Rhodes.
Its focal depth was 7.7 km (4.7 miles).
These details were published by the Geodynamic Institute of Athens on Sunday morning.
The quake was only felt by a few on the island of Rhodes, and fortunately, no damages have been reported thus far.
