Τhe National and Kapodistrian University of Athens has announced recently that it will offer two hundred free placements in online learning training programs for permanent residents of Greek islands and remote border regions of Greece.
The islands and the border residents must be living in one of the following regions: North Aegean, South Aegean, Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, West Macedonia, the Ionian Islands and Epirus.
The aim of the program, implemented by the ”E-Learning Program” of the Training and Lifelong Learning Center of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and in cooperation with the General Secretariat for Vocational Education of the country, is to meet the needs for training in these remote parts of the country.
Due to the fact that the placements are limited, priority will be given to the residents of remote, smaller islands, as well as inaccessible areas near the border which belong to the aforementioned regions, the university said.
