PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation Holds Annual Awards Ceremony and Gala

The PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation held its annual Awards Ceremony & Gala at the Chicago Hilton on Saturday, June 15, awarding $250,000 to forty outstanding Greek-American undergraduates.

This year’s Gala broke ticket sales records, with a completely sold-out event for over 600 guests.

The PanHellenic Foundation has now awarded a total of over $3.25 million to more than 500 young Greek-American undergraduates.

The Foundation had special words of congratulations for the 2019 Scholarship recipients and the for the 2019 Paradigm Award Recipient, Matina Kolokotronis, in particular.

The event organizers also thanked their emcees for the evening’s festivities, Christina Moniodis and Tim Gianitsos, as well as their Board of Directors, the Academic Committee, the Board of Advisors, and the Alumni Board. The Foundation additionally expressed its gratitude to all of its generous donors and supporters who made the scholarships possible.

”Special thanks to Mylos Entertainment of New York for keeping everyone dancing non-stop, and the NHSA for once again coordinating all of our volunteer efforts seamlessly,” the event organizers remarked at the conclusion of the Gala.

The Foundation’s mission is to promote education by providing scholarships and educational programs to Greek-American college students who, guided by the values of their Hellenic upbringing, have the potential to become lifelong significant achievers and contribute to society in a meaningful way.
