Students of the Aegean University to Participate in Manchester Events

Students of the Museology Laboratory of the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication of the University of the Aegean, Museolab, will participate in events in the city of Manchester.
In cooperation with the University of Manchester, they are participating in the “Our City, Our Home” event,” within the framework of the International Refugee Institute, “Refugee Week,” which started today in Manchester and will last until Friday 23 June.
“‘The Refugee Week’ is the largest circle of events in England that is dedicated not only to understand the reasons why a person seeks refuge in a foreign country, but also the positive contribution of refugees to shaping the current economic and cultural reality of this new homeland,” Nassia Hourmouziadis, Museolab Assistant Professor of Museology at the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication of the University of the Aegean, said to the Athens Macedonian News Agency.
