Indefinite Suspension Lifted from Greece's Domestic Soccer League

soccerAccording to the AP, the indefinite suspension that was placed on the Greece’s domestic soccer league’s games has been lifted some eight days after it was initially dealt. The league will recommence on Tuesday, officials have announced.
The suspension was placed by Greece’s soccer federation following an arson attack on the empty holiday home of Giorgos Bikas, a referee in Greece’s soccer federation. The statement released by the federation gave no explanation as why the suspension had been lifted.
The suspected arson occurred on November 9 and had an anti-terrorism squad assigned to the case by the federation and the government, however, thus far there have been no official announcements as to the cause of the fire or the status of the investigation.
