Police have reported that on Friday evening they arrested two tourists for prancing around in the nude at Crete’s international airport in Irakleio, according to Ekathimerini.com.
A 37-year-old Belgian man apparently stripped in the airport’s departure lounge where he was then arrested by police.
Following the first arrest, a couple of hours later authorities say that a 30-year-old German woman was arrested while dancing around naked in the airport’s parking lot.
No further information about the tourists was released by the authorities and at this time police are not sure what motivated the tourists or if the two incidents are related.
