The turbulent history of the small community of the island of Kastellorizo is described in the documentary “At the edge of the Aegean- Kastellorizo”.
In the documentary, Kastellorizo’s history is recorded from its full peak at the end of 19th century, through its period of occupation, migration, and its incorporation into Greece in 1948.
The struggles the people of Kastellorizo endured, were faced with courage, tenacity, and a rich tradition reflected in the film.
The documentary will be screened at an event-tribute, organised by the Hellenic History Foundation and is under the President of the Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos‘ auspices, at the War Museum in Athens on Sunday at 19:00.
