Bouncer in Mykonos Arrested Again Over Brutal Beating

mykonos-attackGreek authorities took into custody the 25-year-old bouncer who beat up a 31-year-old Cypriot national outside a club in Mykonos on Tuesday, September 8th, after he turned himself in. The young man was soon released and asked to prepare his plea for Thursday, September 10 when he would appear before the prosecutor.
However, due to new developments Greek authorities have now arrested the bouncer, as well as the 34-year-old security company owner, who employed the bouncer.
By order of the misdemeanors magistrate on the Greek island of Syros, who saw the video of the fight and investigated the case, the two men were arrested. The bouncer is now facing charges of attempted murder against the 31-year-old Cypriot national, even though on Tuesday, he was only facing misdemeanor charges for inflicting serious injuries on the victim.
At the same time, Vangelis Peppas, the Cypriot victim of the attack is being hospitalized in Athens and according to the doctor his condition is serious.
