World Cup Tickets Stolen in Cyprus

world cup ticketsA British ticket agent in Limassol, Cyprus claims that strangers stole from his car, 688 World Cup Tickets worth 120,000 euros and his laptop.

The man reported to the police that he had left his car for 10 minutes and went into a shop. When he returned, he found out that the thieves had smashed the windows of the car and had taken his briefcase that contained the tickets as well as his laptop. Local police believes that the perpetrators were aware of the content of the briefcase.

The tickets were numbered and it will be difficult for the thieves to sell them given that the buyers won’t be able to use them. The 2014 World Cup will  take place in Brazil from June 12 to July 13 2014.
