Dance groups from all around Greece and Balkans will participate in the 21st International Folklore Festival Xiropotamos 2013 which will take place at the picturesque town of Xiropotamos near Drama the first weekend of August.
The Educational and Cultural Association of Xiropotamos in co-operation with the Drama Regional Unit and the Municipality of Drama organize the festival.
The first day of the festival includes rich music and dance events performed by four Greek traditional dance groups. In particular, the Cultural Association of Agio Pnevma from Serres, the Cultural Association of Perama, The Cave from Perama of Ioannina, the Educational and Cultural Association of Nisi from Imathia region and the Cultural Folklore Association Thrace from Xanthi will participate.
The second day of the festival will be opened by the dance groups from Turkey and Bulgaria. A traditional feast will follow.
