plasticDespite the country’s crushing financial crisis, Greeks are still spending money on plastic surgery, enough so that the country ranks second worldwide in the number of operations to make people look younger and better.
According to data from the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS), cited in the Economist magazine, South Korea is first in the list with the most plastic surgeries, with Italy behind Greece.
In 2011 cosmetic surgeons around the world made more than 14.7 million surgeries, more than half  related to line smoothing, or wrinkle and hair removal and Botox injections in a bid to turn back time.
Liposuction seems to be the most popular cosmetic surgery operation, as it removes fat from many different sites such as the abdomen, thighs and buttocks, to the neck, backs of the arms and elsewhere. Breast enlargement and buttock implants are also popular cosmetic surgery operations, especially in USA and Brazil.
It is noteworthy that women from Brazil prefer Labiaplasty ,the plastic surgery procedure for altering the labia minora and the labia majora, while women in Asia prefer their noses get worked on to enhance their appearance.
