Maybe money can’t buy you love, but it bought a rich Ukrainian businessman the ability to have his luxurious royal suite at the exclusive Elounda Beach resort on Crete turned into a living room within a few hours, complete with a fireplace, TV, computers and paintings so he could enjoy a more personal experience with his wife and her parents. Talk about pleasing the in-laws.
Not content with a custom-styled room to suit his fashion and wallet, he ordered a dinner of expensive wines, caviar and lobster for a few thousand more euros, on top of the cost of transforming his quarters. Life isn’t so tough for him and he stayed at the resort, where the top suites can cost up to 8,000 euros a night, for a month.
