European Parliament President Martin Schulz Says 'Show Respect to Greece's National Sovereignty'

European Parliament President Martin Schulz said that the proposal concerning the appointment of a commissioner regarding Greece’s financial issues was suggested by those who are trying to make the atmosphere more tense within the Eurozone.
“Neither Germany nor any EU Member State is allowed to give the impression that the national sovereignty of Greece seems to be restricted, within the framework of the essential measures imposed for the rescue of the Euro currency”, Martin Schulz emphasized.
The European Parliament President stressed that the troika is in Greece in order to exchange views regarding the ongoing economic situation in Greece. If this process of mutual trust changes, then it will bring about the opposite of the desired result.
‘Greece is facing a difficult time. A large group of people is now in Greece, threatening the national sovereignty of Greece’, Schulz emphasized.
Martin Schulz concluded: “The appearance of economic inspectors in Greece is essential and Greece has approved it. So it’s needless to discuss this issue”.
