Greek singer and songwriter Pantelis Thalassinos will be visiting Australia for the first time since he began his career in 1977, to perform at the Melbourne Antipodes Festival on February 23, and give one show only at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on February 25.
The Greek community of Australia has tried numerous times to get Thalassinos to perform in Australia, and finally the long waiting audiences will now have their wish granted.
Thalassinos is well known for his songs and the traditional music elements he sews into his music. Having released 6 albums and having cooperated with various famous Greek artists, such as Melina Kana, Giorgos Dalaras and Babis Stokas, the singer is sure to give a unique performance for the Australian audience.
