Greek Minister of Multiculturalism in Victoria, Nikos Kotsiras and the Australian Labor Party Representative for Calwell, Maria Vamvakinou have praised the initiative of the Greek Ambassador to Melbourne Helen Lianidou for bringing closer the existing national minorities in Australia.
Lianidou organized a dinner, during which the multicultural character of Melbourne, with all minorities coexisting harmoniously in Australia was emphasized.
The organization of such events as that of Mrs Lianidou contributes to the promotion of cooperation and acceptance of all cultural groups in Australia.
