Campaign for Promotion of Greek Products in Australia

John Pantazopoulos an MP for the State of Victoria in Australia and president of the World Hellenic Inter-Parliamentary Association (PADEE) promotes a campaign for the promotion of Greek products in Australia, especially food products and drinks.

Pantazopoulos says that many Greek products are being imported in Australia that are of great quality and with competitive prices, adding that we all should buy these products.

Pantazopoulos explains that Greece faces an economic crisis and Greeks in Australia can help it recover by buying those imported Greek products.

This campaign would increase exports and job positions, while farming production will be strengthened. Pantazopoulos also makes an appeal to Greek restaurants in Australia for including Greek products to their menus.

“If we contribute to the increase of Greek products’ consumption, Greece would have a benefit”, Pantazopoulos concludes.
