Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos briefed Greek opposition party leaders on European talks about the country’s debt sustainability, the Athens-based Finance Ministry said in an e-mailed statement.
Venizelos spoke to the party leaders, including the head of the main opposition party, Antonis Samaras, by telephone from Brussels, where the talks are being held, the statement said.
Venizelos also held a conference call today with the Hellenic Banking Association, which included representatives of the biggest four Greek banks, a finance ministry official said in an e-mailed statement.
