Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will visit Greece, which is looking for support in the International Monetary Fund for its efforts to pull through the financial crisis, Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos stated on Friday.
“We want Russia’s support, as we want the support of China, India, and Brazil within IMF in order to create a support programme for Greece, in which the IMF will take part.
“We need the votes from representatives of 24 world areas,” Venizelos told parliament.
He did not refer the precise time of the visit, while further details were not available from the prime minister’s office.
