A new graffiti on a wall in Rethymno, Crete, shows Vice President Theodoros Pangkalos, PM Giorgos Papandreou, FinMin and Vice President Evanggelos Venizelos, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel as the ‘Dalton Brothers’ from Lucky Luck, one of the most popular and best-selling comic-book series in Europe.
The humoristic graffiti shows the above mentioned politicians as the criminal and goofy Dalton brothers, who have just robbed another bank carrying stolen items with them.
In the graffiti picture one can see Pangkalos being transformed into Averell Dalton (only interested in food; thus carrying the thigh meat), PM Papandreou carrying a bag of money with him, Venizelos carrying a cash-machine because of his current profession (William and Jack Dalton respectively) and Chancellor Merkel carrying nothing with her, since she is the leader of the gang (Joe Dalton).
Above the “Gang” was written an anti-fascist slogan which is now partly quenched and suggests to ‘crash them’, thus referring to the politicians.
