Lives were put in danger on the highway Patras-Pyrgos, when two men with masked faces rushed into a gas station shooting those in their way and robbing the clerk. The gas station owner was wounded in the leg.
The two perpetrators, aware that an employee would be arriving shortly to deliver proceeds from a nearby gas station to the owner, waited to ambush.
When a young woman came out of her car, perpetrators grabbed her and asked for money in influent Greek, while shooting at the interior of the building.
One man grabbed a bag containing 8,000 euros and sped off in the woman’s car, while his accomplice followed him on a motorcycle.
The stolen car was found later in Gastouni and the two men are still wanted.
