Miguel Marcos Madera, known as Michel, announced that he is ready to return to Greece and play for AEK again. Once he is released from his contract with his team Birmingham City, he will be ready to come back to his old team.
The Spanish midfielder explains that the coach of AEK, Manolo Jimenez, was the main influence on his decision to come back. According to the soccer player, Jimenez has clear ideas and a different philosophy of soccer and playing on the fields. He has a unique way of communicating with his players and making his ideas known.
Michel has made good progress with Birmingham City and therefore feels ready to continue with AEK. He knows that the money is going to be less in Greece but he notes also that he is young and so his first priority is to be happy and to do what he likes most, meaning playing soccer. Such an opportunity is being given to him in Greece. He has a very good relationship with the rest of the players on his team so there will be no worries about adjusting. Michel thanked AEK fans for their love and added that the would ”answer” any questions on the fields.
