Elisabeth Synodinou Elected New President of SEKA in New South Wales

“Elizabeth Synodinou is the new leader of the Justice for Cyprus Coordinating Committee (SEKA), in New South Wales”, the Cypriot Community of New South Wales and the Cypriot Greek Club, jointly announced. The presidents of both organizations, Mr. Michalis Christodoulou and Panicos Achilleos expressed their confidence in the new leader, noting that “her interest in Cyprus is deeply rooted in her soul”.

”Mrs Synodinou had participated in PASEKA, in the past. Lawyer by profession, a member of International Amnesty and strong supporter of human rights”, as stated in the announcement. She is married to the politician Athanasios Synodinos and has two children.

Regarding the new head of SEKA, Mr. Christodoulou made the following statement:

“I am very pleased and happy that Mrs. Elisabeth Synodinou agreed to undertake the difficult task of the presidency of New South Wales SEKA. I’m sure she will respond to all tasks successfully and SEKA will reach high activity levels. I wish her good luck and all of us will be beside her to help in this difficult task.”
