Foreigners Can Now Register for AEI-TEI Via Internet

This year, foreigners who have become eligible for special candidates submissions for admission to higher education are invited to submit their applications through the Internet. The applications, with their preferences on departments and schools they wish to join for the first time, must be sent between July 21 and July 31, 2011.
The platform will be accessible all day long, and candidates can complete their application, without necessarily moving to Greece to do it. The documentation required for each category of applicants will be submitted to the secretariat of the department or school of success on the dates to be set for the registration of candidates. The candidates, before submission, must consider the guidelines for admission to tertiary education for foreigners, which are available on the website of the Ministry of Education: www.minedu.gov.gr / exams, to confirm that they have all the  prerequisites of the category they claim that they belong to and all the necessary documentation required for their category.
Applicants should be aware that:
1. After the electronic submission, they have to send:
-A (1) signed copy of the application – computer file
– two (2) photographs of his/her ID
-A (1) declaration of Law 1599/1986 signed, in which candidates have all the documentation required for registration in a special category and that the same documents will be provided for the registration to the secretariat of faculty or department of introduction.
-Photocopy of passport or identity
Closing date of the postal marking is August 1, 2011.
The documents must be sent only by courier to the following address:
«ΔΙΕΥΘΥΝΣΗ ΟΡΓΑΝΩΣΗΣ ΚΑΙ ΔΙΕΞΑΓΩΓΗΣ ΕΞΕΤΑΣΕΩΝΥΠΟΥΡΓΕΙΟ ΠΑΙΔΕΙΑΣ, ΔΙΑ ΒΙΟΥ ΜΑΘΗΣΗΣ ΚΑΙ ΘΡΗΣΚΕΥΜΑΤΩΝ (ΤΜΗΜΑ Α΄ γρ. 0091, under the indication: ”για την επιτροπή Συγκέντρωσης και Ελέγχου Αιτήσεων – Μηχανογραφικών Δελτίων Αλλοδαπών- Αλλογενών για το έτος 2011)” A. Papandreou 37, P.C. 15180, Maroussi, Athens, Greece.
No late applications will be accepted, as the computer system automatically locks.
After the applications have been checked, candidates will be informed by email once their application has been approved or disapproved. Their code number, with which they will participate in the examination, will also be confirmed and sent to the candidates.
