Flat Rate of Pay for the Public Sector

It is only a matter of time for the establishment of the flat rate of pay in the public sector. The government will submit the bill by August 4th and the vote will take place at the end of the month or the first week of September. The flat rate of pay will be applied gradually during the next three years.
According to the new law, the public sector salaries will be reduced, and there will be rage drift every five and not every two years. 100 benefits will be cut down and it is planned that by 2015, only the family and student allowance, as well as the performance allowance after evaluation will be given. Moreover, a limit of 20 hours of overtime at the most per month will be imposed. The law will be valid for the State-Owned Enterprises employees, as well.
In addition, the working hours per week will be augmented from 37,5 to 40, the part-time employment and the unpaid leave will be established and gradually the public sector employees number will be reduced from 727,000 to 577,000 via retirement, no renewal of the employment contracts and probably dismissals.
