A 12-year-old girl from Kavala managed to break into nine houses in two weeks and steal cash and jewelry. She sold the items to a 41-year old goldsmith who is now charged with receiving stolen goods.
The girl was arrested twice in fifteen days! The first time she was charged with two thefts but was set free on the orders of the public prosecutor of Kavala, who admonished strictly her 31-year-old mother. But the little gypsy girl did not stop. When she was free again she broke into another 7 houses. She stole in total, 537 euro, 1.020 euro worth of jewelry, 3 packages of cigarettes, 2 identity cards and a purse. Her mother is charged with lack of supervision of a minor.
