Deputy Foreign Minister and Responsible for Greek Diaspora Matters, Dimitris Dollis will visit Munich and meet with the Consul General to examine the possibility of issuing police identities in the Consulate. This would reduce the problem that exists in the Consulates of Germany of the delay in issuing passports. The delay is due to the fact that the compulsory removal of passports in 2006, led to enormous passport issues until 31.12.2011. Moreover, the fact that most passports are now issued by machines causes more delays in Consulates.
