Greek Professor Kontellis Wins 8th Pan-European Forum of Microsoft

A Greek professor, from Multiline, won the Pan-European competition for Pioneer Educators.  It was hosted at the 8th annual Pan-European Cooperation’ Forum of Microsoft Learning, as it was announced by Microsoft Hellas. The event took place in Moscow, between the 22nd and 24th of March. More than 300 educators, coming from more than 40 different European countries, took part in it.
Professor Giorgos Kontellis, from the 3rd General High school of Multiline, presented the “Construction of an Educational Satellite Type CanSat” and won third place in the special category “Educators’ Choice”, where the educators themselves vote for the best project.
The Greek educator with his victory also won a place in the International Forum of Microsoft Learning, which will take place November 2011 in Washington, D.C. Mr. Kontellis is the first Greek educator who is honored for the second time in this Forum of Microsoft. His first time was in 2008 when he had also won in the competition, in a different category.
