The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Cyprus announced that it will participate for the second time in The Fine Food Australia 2010. This effort is to promote Cypriot products and to increase Cypriot exports in Australia. The exposition will take place in Melbourne the 13th to 16th of September.
The announcement stated: “Australia is a country with intense Greek and Cypriot presence, so our products will be easily accepted. That is obvious, since our participation last year in Sydney was very successful. We hope our participation in Melbourne will be even more successful”.
The Cypriot Pavilion will be in Hall 7 of the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, where 27 Cypriot exhibitors will participate. The basic product of the Cypriot participation will be its famous haloumi cheese. Many other Cypriot products will be also exposed such as the wine, traditional desserts, and biscuits.
