Earthquake hits Paramythia, Greece

A small but alarming earthquake, measuring 3,9 on the Richter scale,  made the residents of Paramythia, Thesprotia prefecture, in northwest Greece,  fearful that more quakes are about to take place. The earthquake’s epicenter is situated aproximately 252 km southwest of Thessaloniki.According to the seismologists of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the quake was superficial and that explains why it  was felt not only in Paramythia but in many other regions such as Epirus as well, keeping residents alarmed. Reportedly, it did not cause any damages or injuries.
