Prime Minister Papandreou expressed his deepest sympathy for the casualties of the wildfires that ravage the country in his telegram to Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
“My grief is huge for the tragic loss of human lives and the destruction caused by the wildfires raging in Russia these days. On behalf of the Greek government, I extend my sincere condolences to the families of the victims and our support for all those hit by this tragedy….We keep on thinking you every day”.
