A wildfire that broke out yesterday evening in a forest near ancient Olympia was reported as partially contained this morning. Twenty fully equipped vehicles with a 90 member crew together with 7 aircrafts and a water dropping helicopter, made efforts to extinguish the blaze. At the moment a team of fireguards remains in order to prevent flare-ups. Luckilly ancient Olympia was not menaced by the devastating fire.
