Starteling GSEE Employment Statistics

GSEE’ s prediction that during this winter, Greek unemployment will be up to 20%.  This has come as a shock to the whole country.  This figure determines that about a million people will be left without jobs. During the first trimester of 2010, 550,000 out of 5 million people were unemployed. It is now clear that the unemployment rate has raised 2%  since last year.
Things are even worse in northern Greece as the unemployment figures have risen to 18%. According to GSEE’s statistics the unemployment rate in Greece will be up to  20% and the unemployment rate will be double.  Currently 120,000 youngsters are unemployed and 440,000 did not manage to secure jobs last year. New GSEE’s Secretary Vaggelis Bouzoulas underlined that: “This is something that will cause tragic problems in the households’ budget next winter” !
