The Insurance Bill Declared Unconstitutional

The insurance and pension bill, which deals explicitly with the public and broader public sector, was found unconstitutional by the Conference of Auditors.
During the past few days, the plenary court revised and worked on the insurance bill that deltas with the public and private sector. However, the coexistence of both sectors in the same insurance bill, was fouled unconstitutional. As a result, a new insurance bill was read parliament, that concerned only the public sector.
Most of the provisions mentioned in the new bill, where also, included in the previous daft.
The plenary Court ruled again certain provisions of the new Bill as unconstitutional, whilst meanwhile an article was found quite the contrary to the first additional protocol of the European Convention on human rights (ECHR).
In particular, unconstitutional was considered the provisions of the 8th article, which states that, female widows will get a reduced pension if she and her husband had more than 10 years difference in age.
Unconstitutional was also found the provision that prohibits pensioners of the public sector to work in the private sector.
As also, unconstitutional was considered the provision, which States that judges ‘ pensions entitlement is founded in 25 years, regardless of the existing constitutional age limit output by the judiciary. Still, it was considered that certain provisions of the Bill should be redrafted and others to clarify.
Finally, the plenary Court reiterated certain provisions of the Bill, those found unconstitutional, expressed by the first Bill.
