This year, Paros has received several prestigious accolades, including from Expedia and Hello Tickets. After being voted the world’s number one island for 2025 by readers of Travel + Leisure, Paros was selected by Expedia as one of the “Best Islands in the World” for the year. It was specifically highlighted for its vibrant nightlife, placing it alongside other global icons like Bali (Best for Relaxation) and the Maldives (Best for Romance).
The travel website Hello Tickets also named Paros’ Golden Beach as one of Europe’s top 10 beaches for a more active, adventurous getaway. The site praised the beach for its amenities, including sun loungers, tavernas, and excellent conditions for windsurfing and kitesurfing.

According to Ferryhopper, data for 2025 shows Paros is a central stop on popular Greek “island-hopping” routes for American, British, Australian, and Canadian travelers. Common routes often include combinations with Mykonos, Santorini, and Naxos.
A study by the tour operator CV Villas ranked Paros in sixth place among Europe’s most emerging luxury destinations for 2025. This was the highest ranking for any Greek destination on the list, with the study noting Paros’ authentic architecture, gastronomy, and quality accommodations.
From January to May 2025, Paros saw a significant surge in demand on Ferryscanner, ranking first for British tourists and second for Americans. The data suggests Americans are drawn to the island’s tranquility, while British visitors are seeking a more “unexplored” experience.
This consistent praise from diverse sources demonstrates that Paros is successfully expanding its appeal beyond the traditional summer season, positioning itself as a premier destination for a variety of international travelers.
