After spending part of his summer vacation in Mallorca, Cristiano Ronaldo has chosen Greece as his next destination. The Portuguese forward was spotted aboard his ultra-luxury yacht on Friday (July 11, 2025) off the northern coast of Evia, Greece’s second-largest island near Athens.

According to local reports, Ronaldo attempted to approach the Rovies area, but no marina in the vicinity could accommodate a vessel of that size. This isn’t the football star’s first visit to Greece. He previously vacationed in Messenia shortly after finalizing his transfer to Juventus.

Aboard the 27-meter Azimut Grande

Ronaldo is currently cruising the Greek seas on his second yacht, the Azimut Grande 27. Purchased in 2020, the vessel measures 26.8 meters (88 feet) in length and is constructed from lightweight carbon fiber. It features five cabins, six bathrooms, and a wide range of luxury amenities.

The yacht, named “CG MARE”—a combination of “Cristiano” and “Georgina”—is estimated to be worth between €7 million ($7.6 million) and €7.2 million ($7.8 million). It’s powered by two MAN V12 engines, delivering a total of 3,800 horsepower and reaching speeds of 27–28 knots (31-32 mph). Onboard features include an electronic helm, a retractable swim platform, a private gym, smart entertainment systems, and solar-electric components.

Mallorca with family, then a tour of the Aegean

Ronaldo’s summer break began in Mallorca, where he was seen with his partner Georgina Rodríguez and their children. Images from the Spanish Riviera quickly made the rounds on social media, showing the 39-year-old superstar enjoying Europe’s top destinations to recharge during the off-season.

His yacht was later spotted near the island of Skiathos and Skopelos. While there has been no official confirmation of how long Ronaldo plans to remain in Greece, the presence of his vessel in Greek waters suggests the country is once again part of his summer itinerary. Known for keeping a low profile, Ronaldo always vacations discreetly and far from the spotlight.

Ronaldo signed a new contract at Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a new contract with Al Nassr, reportedly extending his stay through 2027 in a deal worth over $200 million per year, including commercial and ambassadorial commitments.

The Portuguese superstar, who originally joined the Saudi Pro League side in late 2022, has been instrumental both on and off the pitch, helping to raise the global profile of Saudi football.

The new agreement not only secures Ronaldo’s services for the upcoming seasons but also reinforces his role as a key ambassador for Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative and the country’s broader push into international sports.
