US fashion designer Michael Kors was on a Greek island vacation this summer and praised the experience on his official Instagram account, which boasts 19 million followers.
New York born Kors captioned a few photos from his Greek island getaway with a message of adoration for Greece.
“Glorious Greece! Bright blue skies and turquoise water, the friendliest people, fabulous felines, fantastic food and outrageous ouzo! Laid-back summer chic… I love Greece!” he wrote.
“Greece looks good on you!” one follower commented while several Greek fans also told the designer they love him and his work.
Michael Kors’ vacation on Hydra and Milos islands
Dressed in black and white, the world-renowned fashion designer posed for photos at various locations. He is seen on a traditional paved street in front of white-painted Greek island houses, on board a rubber boat, and seated under pergolas at a tavern.
Although Michael Kors did not disclose which islands he visited during his Greek vacation, one can clearly notice the port of the tiny island of Hydra in the Argosaronic Gulf in one of his photos with an orange cat starring in it.
In one of the other photos, the world-renowned fashion designer is seen enjoying a shot of ouzo with his husband Lance LePere at a traditional fish tavern in the Mandrakia area of Milos island in the Cyclades.
A video that Kors posted from a boat trip appears to have been shot off the coasts of Milos, as well, close to some of the island’s many unique sea caverns and unusual sea rock formations.
The designer is the chief creative officer of his homonymous brand, Michael Kors, which sells men’s and women’s ready-to-wear accessories, watches, jewelry, footwear, and fragrance.
In over forty years in fashion business, he has dressed many celebrities and also appeared on TV as a judge in Project Runway.
International celebrities on vacation to Greece
Like every year, many world famous celebrities have been spotted enjoying their vacation in Greece.
Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney was recently on the Mamma Mia island of Skopelos, in the Sporades group of islands while Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and Kate Hudson descended into Spetses in the Argosaronic Gulf in late June.
Princess Lalla Salma of Morocco chose the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos for a vacation with her son, heir to the throne, Moulay Hassan.
Actors Kevin Hart, Natalie Portman, and Jessica Alba were also separately spotted vacationing on Mykonos in the month of July.
